Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep

The scream I screamed when I saw baby Axel on the screen! And baby Kairi! And baby Riku and Sora!!!
My wife and I have been watching the cut scenes for the game, we started with Ventus, then Aqua, then Terra (the whole game is basically you go through the game once with one character then go with the others and do it again from their points of views) and just. Yesterday, my heart broke when we finished watching Aqua's. The strength of that girl (also the first one that isn't Kairi but also kinda? But she has her own full arc at the very least, she's her own person).
I think out of all things, following Xehanort's trail as a character is kinda the hardest at the moment. He's like this character, no, that character, no this one instead, he's Ansem but he's not *that* Ansem and Ansem isn't really Ansem to begin with and, and, and... I'm definitely going through the Wiki when we're done with this because I need to visually see on paper to make it make sense XD
For fanfic reasons of course.
Speaking of fanfics, okay wtf, I ship Terra with Cinderella 100%! Is it a rare pair? No idea, haven't look at Ao3 yet cause I want to be done with the whole series first to avoid spoilers, but you can be certain I'm going to write something for them because just !!!!! They were so cute together! They were together on screen for a grand total of what, 3 minutes? And their interaction was just so adorable! The way they were smiling and giggling together! I will go down with this ship! I love them so much!
Watching Birth By Sleep really gave me a better appreciation of 358/2, and makes me love KH1 and KH2 even more! The reveal about Sora and Ventus, their link together, how Roxas fits into this. The amount of times I just went "what? WHAT?!?!?!?!?!?!?!" and how I just needed some time to just take it all in after we were done just.
What an amazing series. Seriously.
