Update on my grimoire
Feb. 17th, 2026 11:46 amI found a perfect scrapbook base at the thrift store, exactly like how I imagined it, and after I received post bound extensions, I got to work:

I've repurposed packing paper and printer paper as my base. Eventually, I'll dye the printer paper to give it a bit more oomph (I was thinking of dying it with watercolor for something a bit different, probably light pink or purple).

I decided to "traveler's notebooked" part of it just for fun, to see if it's going to work for me or not. Experimenting is part of the process.

At the back of it, I repurposed a paper bag as envelope for my previous grimoires (just basic soft cover notebooks) and the artwork I made I want to collage in. I like to use art a lot in my practice, mainly poetry and watercolour, most often a mix of both.
I already have an idea of what I'll work on next, but I'm okay with that part taking longer. I'm probably going to share my pages as I make them, especially if I'm particularly proud of them. I'm already so pleased with how this turned out, I'm so excited to continue working in this!
Next steps: - use fabric I like as new cover
- create my first page (I'm thinking of a spread on the oak tree)
